About Us

Nate Wachtler grew up grinding away with the family owned Wachtler Construction Company. Surrounded and taught by millwrights with over 135 years of combined erecting experience, Nate soon became the business's go-to man for crane operation.

He simply has the touch.

In 2007, Lake Country Crane split off to become an independent crane rental service and began providing quality, friendly, and professional help for lifting needs in Central Minnesota.

When he's not behind the controls of his 2007 National 40-ton baby, he can be found in any field or stream, lake, or Great Lake; hunting or fishing with his puppies Gus and Blue.
